Dear Reader:
A lot has happened since my last blog entry. I never expected that my book would trigger so much interest which resulted in over 100 lectures and presentations throughout Florida, Canada (Montreal), New York,California (Los Angeles) and Israel.Furthermore, I have given several radio interviews on local NPR stations, was featured in a JTLV Yom Hashoa program and contribute to a documentary about children of supporters of the Nazi regime.
I feel humbled and honored to have had the privilege sharing my life experience with so many wonderful people from all walks of life. I also continue contributing all of my lecture proceeds to various charitable organizations supporting the teaching of the Holocaust and the support of Holocaust survivors. Meanwhile my book was also published in Brazil and an Israeli edition is pending.
Most importantly, I just returned from a very emotional journey to Poland visiting the sites of the former concentration camps culminating in the March of the Living which I walked together with my daughter Jade from Auschwitz to Birkenau.
I will never forget standing next to the ruins of the gas chambers and crematoria in Birkenau silently praying for the all of victims of Nazi genocide. I hope that my creator will give me the strength to build a better world and to share my aspirations and ideas for many years to come.

Dear Dr. Wollschlaeger, I saw you speak and bought your book last Autumn at Valencia Falls in Delray Beach,FL . I was very touched and impressed with your story. I put your book on the shelf for future reading and yesterday as I was preparing to head north (Iam a snowbird)I saw your book and took it with me. I finished the book today. You taught me more than I ever knew about my religion and it's prayers in my 73 years. You are an amazing human being and I have the highest respect and admiration for you. Bernard Cohn
Dear Dr. Wollschlaeger! I listened to your interview with Dick Gorgon in my car on my way home. I stood on my driveway, ignored all phone calls, being unable to move. I sobbed. Coming from a mixed family (my mother is christian and father is jewish, I was born and raised in Belarus), my spiritual identity remains to be a stur of confusion for me.
I am taking my 18 year old son to Berlin this August to share with him my internal cry to pay respect to the tragedy of the war and Holocaust in particular. I am not ready to take him to Poland yet.
Thank you for your honesty and inspiration! Your story have resonated in my soul and deeply moved me!.

Sr. Wollschlaeger, fiquei muito impressionado com a raiva que o sr alimentou dentro de si desde criança, de seus pais e de seu país. É uma pena, o sr deve ter sido bastante infeliz. É engraçado o sr não ter a mesma condescendência com os palestinos que teve com outras vítimas de Hitler. O seu livro é chocante, coitados dos seus pais.
